Great South Run 2016

Sign-ups for this year's Great South Run are open!

2015

Last year was a huge success, with 22 runners, managing to raise just over £8000 towards the installation of internet at the school. This was a crucial development enabling the students to access a world of information at their finger tips and to increase the efficiency of the EDP operation in Ghana. The funds also kitted out several classrooms with overhead projectors and dongles which the teachers can use to utilise the internet, making their teaching more interactive and engaging.

2016

We hope this year to have at least as many runners, if not more. Those of you who didn’t manage to participate in the 2015 event - this is your chance to redeem yourselves! Our aim is to raise as much as possible for a new science lab, and pay for the refurbishment of the existing lab. This development would allow for the delivery of the single sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Biology rather than integrated science teaching. This would also create more space for Home Economics, ultimately improving the learning experience for all students.

The Great South Run Portsmouth, is taking place on Sunday 23rd October and follows a ten-mile route along Southsea Common and around the city.
