Our Creative ideas...
Organise a gig or performance on our behalf. Here is one example:
'Gigging 4 Ghana': In 2014, EDP Trust, with the invaluable help of the Taylor family, organised Gigging 4 Ghana- a night of music and fun with some unexpected twists (those present will know what we mean!) at Fiddlers Club in Bristol.
Comprising three different live acts, two well-known Bristol based DJs and competitions to boot,
Gigging 4 Ghana was deemed a huge success, raising £3,000 for Awutu-Winton Senior High School
and promoting awareness of the charity amongst the young, hip Bristol crowd!

The Great South Run and London Marathon
Our regular annual event is the Great South Run in October and we have officially entered an EDP team for the last three years. Numbers are swelling year on year and, more importantly, we are now attracting new young blood to our Ghana Gallopers team!
2015 is set to be another record-breaking year, both in terms of runners and money raised and we hope to exceed last year’s number of around 20 runners… Go Team Ghana!!!
If you would like to join the Ghana Gallopers then check out the GSR website here and sign up- we'd love to have you on board. You can also support us by sponsoring the EDP runners through our Virgin Money Giving Page.
2016 is going to be an awesome year! We are pleased to announce that we have a charity place at the London Marathon. Sign up to be our first Virgin Money London Marathon runner. Get in touch now!

Here is another example of a great fundraising idea...
Camborne School of Mine’s
Mark Whitfield and all the students from Camborne School of Mines, with the support of the FXU, raised the staggering amount of £1,593.08 for EDP during their Crazy Week (a.k.a. Rag Week) with some inspired stunts.
Paddleboarding in the sea in bitter conditions (this was March!) for 9 hours at a stretch, cycling 70 miles in (mostly very flimsy) fancy dress, again accompanied by terrible weather, all the way from Falmouth to Lands End: these were just two of the challenges which faced the intrepid fundraisers, and EDP was fortunate to be nominated as one of the three charities to benefit from their efforts.
Well done guys!!
